Sales Talk:
Phone Cards Overlooked Sales Tool Or Old News?
Everyone sells pre-paid phone cards these days, from the corner
liquor store to the post office. Are they old news as a marketing tool?
We dont think so.
Were not marketing experts, but we believe marketing methods that
deliver value are far superior to those that simply carry product
information. We also believe that marketing tools that reinforce their
message over and over are superior to one-time reminders. Phone cards do
both very well.
Companies that use them generally must commit to buying a
predetermined number of cards, delivered monthly over a year or longer
and sporting any logo or artwork they choose. Cards usually come
pre-loaded with 3 to 30 minutes, and are easily rechargeable with a
credit card. Quantities of 25 to 10,000 cards with 3 minutes of time
included will cost roughly $4.75 down to as little as $1.20 each.
