Quote from today's FT.com: "Republican members (of Congress) are focused on the idea that officials put undue pressure on BofA to complete the deal (with Merrill Lynch)."
What's that about? Have these Republican congresspeople forgotten which party was in office when the deal was struck? Has the name "Hank Paulson" slipped from their vocabulary or in their haste to forget George W. Bush was ever born have they also forgotten the cabinet officer who led the charge that (apparently) stuffed Merrill down BofA's throat?
And for you BofA shareholders, never fear and hold those shares. This is going to be a very good deal someday soon. Well someday.
